Growing up amongst nature in a small town in India these perky birds were always around me. With their nests in our ventilators they were my inspirations of my artistic journey. I like to invoke a connection with the outside world, there is an element of wonder and appreciation of the world around. In this series each piece reflects my fascination with their intricate details and the subtle interplay of colors that define their existence. Merging realism with imagery in this painting I wanted to share the relationship, the naturally accepted social hierarchy of this pair.
